New Delhi: Indian Coast Guard Recruitment: Indian Coast Guard has given vacancy to the posts of Naval (General Duty). 12th pass candidates can apply for these posts. Online application will start on these posts from 26 January. Indian Coast Guard has vacated a total of 260 posts for the recruitment of seafarers.


Talking about the qualification, the 12th pass candidates who have Mathematics and Physics as a subject in the 12th can apply for these posts. Also, the candidate should have at least 50 percent marks in the 12th. SC and ST category candidates have been given 5 percent relief, they should have at least 45 percent marks in their 12th standard.

Age Range

Regarding the age limit for these posts, the age of the applicant should be between 18 and 22 years. SC and ST category candidates have been given 5 years relief in the maximum age. At the same time, 3 years relief has been given to the maximum age limit for OBC category candidates.

Selection Process

Talking about the selection process, a written test will be conducted for the selection, after which the physical fitness test will be taken. The written examination will be objective in which questions of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning will be asked. Candidates successful in the written test will be called for the physical fitness test. The admit card for the written examination will be available to the candidates from February 15 to February 22.
