Maharashtra: Uddhav Thackeray’s cabinet expanded today, 10 Congress, 13 NCP and 13 Sena MLAs will take oath as ministers

New Delhi: The cabinet of Uddhav Thackeray government of Maharashtra will be expanded at 1 pm today. According to sources, 10 Congress MLAs can take oath as ministers. Among them, there are reports of former Chief Ministers Ashok Chavan, Amit Deshmukh, Yashomati Thakur and KC Padvi taking oath as ministers. Ashok Chavan may get PWD ministry. According to sources, Congress leader and former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan will not be made a minister, due to which he is being told angry. By the way, senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge did not tell the names of the Congress leaders who are going to take the oath of the minister but they gave information about the cabinet expansion.

According to the information received, 10 Congress MLAs who take oath as ministers are named after them. Ashok Chavan, KC Padvi, Vijay Vadettivar, Amit Deshmukh, Sunil Chhatrapal Kedar, Yashomati Thakur, Varsha Eknath Gaikwad, Aslam Sheikh, Satej alias Bunty Patil, Vishwajit Patang Rao Kadam. Apart from this, today 13-13 MLAs of Shiv Sena and NCP will take oath as ministers.

On way to Mantralaya from the Thackeray family residence Matoshree in suburban Bandra, he stopped at the Hutatma Chowk in south Mumbai and paid tributes to martyrs.

Thackeray, who is also the Shiv Sena president, was sworn-in as the chief minister on Thursday evening and presided over the first cabinet meeting on Thursday night.

Thackeray is heading the government of a three-party alliance, ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’, whose main constituents are the Sena, the NCP and the Congress.
