IPLAuction2020: Cummins sold most expensive, money on Australian players

Teams are spending money on Australian players in the auction for IPL 2020. So far Australia’s Pat Cummins has proved to be the most expensive player.

He has been bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for 15.50 crores. His base price was 20 million. Glenn Maxwell of Australia was bought by Kings XI Punjab for 10.75 crores.

While Aaron Finch sold for 4.40 crores. They will play from Bangalore. Australian fast bowler Ken Richardson was bought by RCB for four crores.

West Indies aggressive batsman Shimron Hetmyer was bought by Delhi Capitals for 7.75 crores.

While his team-mate Sheldon Cottrell bought Kings XI Punjab for 8.50 crores.

Morgan’s Price

England captain Eoin Morgan will play Kolkata Knight Riders next year. They have bought Kolkata for 5.25 crores. Robin Uthappa of India has been bought by Rajasthan Royals for three crores.

Spinner Piyush Chawla was bought by Chennai Super Kings for 6.75 crores.

Mumbai Indians bought Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter Nile for eight crores.

Sam Karan from England will play for Chennai Super Kings. They sold for five and a half crores.

The Rajasthan Royals bought Robin Uthappa released from Kolkata for three crores.

Priyam Garg, the captain of the Indian Under 19 team, was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 1.90 crores. His fellow player Yashasvi Jaiswal will play for Rajasthan. Their price was 2.40 crores.

On the other hand – 338 players bid for the Indian Premier League 2020 in Kolkata on Thursday. In this auction, Australia’s Pat Cummins was bought the most by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 15.5 crore. Apart from this, Shimron Hetmyer of West Indies also got good money. The explosive batsman was added to his team by Delhi Capitals with a bid of Rs 7.75 crore. After this auction, Shimron Hetmyer’s video is going viral on social media.

In fact, happy with the money received at the auction, Hetmyer climbed the table to dance in the hotel. This video has been shared by Delhi Capitals on their official Instagram account. In the video, Hetmyer is seen dancing openly.
