Delhi Nursery, KG Admission 2020: In the first week of January 2020, the admission process for the category of economically weaker sections (EWS) and DG i.e. disadvantaged groups in nursery admissions is going to start. Let us know that the admission process for general seats is going on, which will end on December 29. As the days of the general sito admission process are coming to an end, the parents are eyeing the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) / Divyang Class (DG).

Guidelines may be released on 3 January 2020

A senior official said that after the completion of the admission process on December 29, the admission in the EWS / DG category will start soon after getting the data of all the seats vacant from the district. Guidelines for this category can be issued between 30 December to 3 January.

Admission of 2-year-old children will also be possible

Explain that by 31 March, the child’s age should be three to four years for nursery admission, four to five years for KG and five to six years for class one. However, according to the circular issued by the directorate, if the school wishes, the school can give an additional relaxation of one month in age. Accordingly, now two years and 11 months old children can also be admitted.

Admission process was fixed till January

The directorate has set a target to start the admission process in the first week of January. The Directorate of Education reserves 25 per cent seats for EWS / DG category in Nursery, KG and Class I under the Right to Education Act in private schools in Delhi.
