Chhattisgarh: Absconding from police station accused of kidnapping and rape, 6 policemen suspended

According to the news agency language report, police officials of Surajpur district reported on Tuesday (December 17) that on Monday evening, police arrested Suraj Vishwakarma (18), a resident of Ramnagar village, for kidnapping and raping a teenager. After arrest, the accused was kept in the police station. Today, the accused was to be produced in a local court.

Police officials said a case has been registered against the youth under kidnapping, rape and poxo law. The accused escaped from the police station by dodging policemen around 5 am. Officials said six policemen were deployed to supervise the accused youth. He said that the policemen under the supervision of the accused slept.

The incidents of rape are not taking the name of work. If there is such negligence on the part of the administration, then every criminal courage will continue on the path of sin and go to the end.

He said that after getting information about the incident, District Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kukreja suspended Assistant Sub Inspector Shobhit Packra, Havildar Vishnu Dev, constable Bhimesh Armo, constable Aneesh Tiwari, constable Brijlal Singh and constable Madan Bhagat on charges of negligence in work. Tax departmental inquiry is ordered. Police officials said that a police team has been sent to search the accused.
