After receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Amitabh Bachchan said about his career, should I sit home now?

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Amitabh Bachchan was honored with this highest honor of cinema by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday. After being honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Amitabh Bachchan thanked the government and the public and said a few words about his career.

During this, Amitabh Bachchan said, ‘God has been blessed, parents have been blessed, the producers-directors and co-stars of the film industry have also been together but the love and encouragement of the people of India has been the most due to which I stand before you. With this, Big B thanked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for the award.

At the same time Amitabh Bachchan said, ‘When this award was announced, there was doubt in my mind whether it was a sign to me that brother, you have done a lot of work, now you sit home. Because ladies and gentlemen, there is still work to be done and further possibilities are being created where I will get an opportunity to work.

Let me tell you that Amitabh Bachchan was to be honored at the National Film Awards honor ceremony, but Amitabh could not reach the ceremony due to ill health. He was then felicitated by the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 29 December. During this time his son Abhishek Bachchan was also present in the ceremony.
